Healthy Diet Plan to Improve Health

For Cough: If you have a cough, start your day with freshly cooked, warm meals. Include solid foods like rice and roti, semi-solid foods like chutneys, and liquids like dal.
Enhance Millets: When eating millets like finger millet (ragi), sorghum (jowar), or Pearl millet (bajra), add some healthy fats like ghee. This aids digestion, especially in the winter when digestion tends to be more robust.
Digestive Aids: To make certain foods easier to digest, consider these additions:
• For milk digestion, add a pinch of dry ginger.
• If wheat bread is challenging, mix in some celery and cumin.
• Sprinkling a little black pepper on an egg can aid its digestion.

Watch Out for Certain Foods:
• Papaya during Pregnancy: Avoid papaya during pregnancy as it has a heating effect and may pose a risk of miscarriage.
• Deep-Frying Veggies: Deep frying green vegetables in oil or ghee can reduce their mineral and vitamin content significantly. Opt for healthier cooking methods to retain their nutritional value.
• Moderate Ghee Intake: Consume 1 to 2 teaspoons of unprocessed ghee (clarified butter made from curd) daily to enjoy its health benefits.
• Amla for Immunity: Amla (Indian gooseberry) is a superfood. Eating one Amla daily benefits your overall health, including boosting your immunity.
Consider Food Resemblance:
• Some foods have structures resembling specific organs and can benefit those organs:
• Walnuts, shaped like the brain, contain Omega-3 and are good for brain health.
• Grapes, resembling lungs with their small sacs (alveoli), contain resveratrol, which reduces lung inflammation.
