Video Sharing Cartoons

Many households have small children that just can’t get enough of cartoons, even after watching them for hours on network and on demand at home. Spongebob Squarepants is now one of the highest rated and watched cartoons, coming only second to Bugs Bunny in history. So how can you soothe the hurt feelings of the child in all of us, and watch the cartoons at any time? Video sharing websites.

Video Sharing Websites

Doing a general search on the cartoon character of your choice and video sharing websites will generate pages upon pages of results. For instance, if you are looking for an episode of Bugs Bunny that offered Elmer Fudd, you would look up Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd videos. This will bring up all the results across the web that offers videos with both characters. Clicking on any one of these links will take you to a video sharing opportunity, where anyone could have placed this video or cartoon clip on the site. Some video sharing sites offer a code that you can copy and paste into your own home page so that you can always see this clip. Other sites offer you the option of downloading the video, and you will always be able to watch the cartoon on your computer.

Embedding

Embedding flash is one way of keeping a video on a website. Embedding is the art of adding a code into the programming of a website to continuously offer the flash object. Some websites will filter out certain types of codes, but using the right code can help you to avoid that. Common codes include 5 lines. The first line is the SRC, which is the player name. So if you are using javascript, your code on the first line would say src=”player.swf”. The second line offers the width of the player or screen shown, and the third line is the height. The fourth line of embedded code will show the type of person that can use the object such as, if you want anyone to be able to see the video, your line would say: allowscriptaccess=”always”. The last line will allow for full screen, and should read allowfullscreen=”true”. Embedding is a hard ordeal, so it is best to use a program to do this, because if you embed the code wrong, it could cause destruction of your video.

Cartoons and Torrents

Many cartoons from when cartoons were first introduced on television are available on some of these sites. Simply typing in cartoons and video sharing websites will bring up a plethora of videos available for you to watch. Choosing how to view the videos is another option. Torrents are a way of downloading a file from other users on the internet. Although many ISP’s consider this a P2P program, it is very hard to track the original location of any file. There are many torrent programs available to help you download from these numerous users at once. Much like P2P programs, you are downloading from many users at the same time. Simply typing in the name of the cartoon you want, and then the word torrent will bring up all the files with that name across the net for you to partake of.
